Update on Black Cats Ukraine

Not sure if it's something that can happen but I've also mentioned to RAWA that it would be great if the supporter's trusts of Sunderland and Newcastle could organise something jointly. When it really matters, the two sets of fans do tend to stand side by side. There were loads of donations from Newcastle fans for Bradley Lowery, SAFC fans raised over £20,000 following the MH17 crash (I believe the appeal started on here) to name just two occasions. For me, there's an opportunity here to genuinely do something as a region. Two huge fan bases with more in common than what divides us, both fan bases incredibly generous when it comes to charity appeals and the likes. Not sure what it would look like etc, but I'm sure that together we could send a message of unity and raise an absolute fortune to help those desperately in need

Ha'way the Ukrainians. Brave bastards. They deserve all the luck in the world.

Seriously praying for Putin's inner circle to do a "Julius Caesar" on him.

The only nazis in this conflict are Putin, his henchmen and his army. Bastards the lot of them. May they go directly to Hell.

His army just blindly follow. It’s Putin and his henchmen we want a swift demise of!

Particularly as the lads who were on the plane that got shot down were killed by a Russian anti-aircraft missile.

You'd certainly think there's a chance to do something together that would raise an absolute fortune. Hell, could have a match between the fans hosted at St James' Park (because our pitch could hardly take another game), no idea how you'd pick teams like but you'd sell loads of tickets, especially if you could also sell virtual tickets. Even if that's a non starter I'm sure there must be a workable, able to organise event or appeal which would raise loads

In all honesty, it's a travesty as most Russian ordinary people I've known and worked with for over 10 years are brilliant..it's the top enders that cause the trouble, are ignorant to life and survive off corrupt and inhuman dealings and they deserve whatever is coming to them!

Oh, are you clem? I was asking about you on another thread. If it’s you, glad to hear you’re well
I am mate...for some reason lost my status and history as a striker on here and had to re-start...thanks for the concern and well wishes old son, but I'm back here now although still connected out there. Met up with quite a few lads off here while out there and some great nights and hangovers to prove it :)

Following on from my idea earlier, I'd love to be able to contact the club and see if they'd replace the badge with the blue and yellow one mocked up on this thread, but the contact form is just that and not an email address. If someone has an email addy, I'll send over the suggestion that they do a one-off, match-worn kit which could then could be auctioned off to raise funds for humanitarian relief.
Hope it happens as its a great idea, but dont the fa/efl/fifa have something about political statements and strips?

How surprising

What a smug piece of garbage he is.

They might, to be sure. But maybe there's some way around it. Also: I imagine any one of those three entities catching all manner of shit if they were to put up a fuss about it. Supporting Ukraine is something FIFA's already doing now anyhow.
