well there you go, you have a lot more faith in the Russian liars not playing dirty than others do

Also as I said it was my understanding of Uks position not my position but don’t let get in the way

"the Uks position" is that Patel is too scared to give a statement and explain said "position"

There is a huge difference between saying what Putin is doing is wrong and questioning military tactics when you have no idea what is happening on the ground
I think that too but you can’t have it both ways. You’re the one who said we can’t question Ukraine so I don’t see how you think we can question Russia. It’s 2 sides yet you’re saying we can only question one.

Boris talking now on bbc in Warsaw with the Polish PM.

He’s said we stand ready to take Ukrainian refugees which is false.

He praises the Polish people for being on the front line in helping.

Saying Zelensky is inspiring the world.

Putin has underestimated the resolve of the ROW.

Sanctions will intensify and go as long as it takes.

We will continue to support Ukrainian friends as long as it takes.

I am more convinced than ever that Putin will fail and he must fail. We will protect a sovereign and democratic Ukraine.

Credit to Boris, he spoke well there (refugee stuff aside).
Couldn't help but lie and try to overstate his own effort though, could he? The useless dickheaded manbaby, cowardly lying sack of shit.

The Ukrainian ambassador to the UK speaking at the Foreign Affairs Committee is class mind, speaks perfect English and no frills. Been impressed with him from the start.

The head of urban warfare the other day from some major institute was saying even if you have a top level attack it’s 5/1 in favour of the defenders in urban warfare.

Particularly with the anti tank and ambush weapons the Ukrainians have you wouldn’t want to be a Russian troop in that convoy rolling down a broad boulevard surrounded by high rises

They may well strike the convoy with drones anyway if they can get close enough

I seen one video someone taking on their iphone of the Russians crawling into an urban area at walking pace with a dozen soldiers exposed walking behind an armoured vehicle. Would I fuck want to be one of those Russian soldiers.

Words are cheap. We have sidelined ourselves and are still not sorting out Londons laundromat or Tory funding by Russia.

We used to be mint at manufacturing stuff, we should start making stuff again tbh.

The issue is the cost of the product(s) if they are produced here as the cost will be significantly higher than what we pay now. Whether people will change their habits and invest in these product(s) rather than just throwing it away is to be seen.

Also conversely it doesn’t help those developing countries to progress and get out of poverty.

I didn't see NATO countries turn up in the countries and shell the shit out of them and kill innocent people, so comparing the two is totally wrong.

'The NATO bombing killed about 1,000 members of the Yugoslav security forces in addition to between 489 and 528 civilians.'

Ukrainian pilots in Poland now picking up EU funded fighter jets.
I assume they'll fly them to Ukrainian controlled airfields. I wonder how that works in terms of flying sorties. Will they fly from Ukrainian airfields or from Poland? Flying from Poland could escalate things a lot. I hope the airfields are well defended to keep the planes flying.

I found this video below interesting which was posted by @Lonz yesterday but possibly got lost or missed by some.

I wasn't up to date on the history of Ukraine - Russia stuff starting from 2014 or any political stuff either. In fact I knew very little and no doubt others on here aren't clued up on everything so they may well find it informative as it's simple to follow. I don't know how much of this video is true, however it made me a little more aware of possible reasons all this shit from Russia has properly kicked off.
