He didn't say "start accepting refugees".
You've either deliberately tried to misrepresent what was said in order to imply that they were refused entry to begin with, or you haven't bothered to listen to the source yourself.

He said "Of course we're going to take refugees ..".

The UK has always taken in refugees and that hasn't changed with Ukraine.
It's not difficult to understand.
 
Seems amazingly quiet again tonight. After Friday it seems to have died down a lot in Kharkiv and Kyiv. South coast the Russians are making some progress.

Supposedly the Russians were ordered to take Kyiv by Monday so you would assume that the lack of fighting is that they are not currently in a position to launch an offensive. They have split apparently and need coordination, fuel and ammo
