I wonder how much dialogue there is between the west & russia behind the scenes? Every politician & diplomat should make it clear that as long as Putin is in charge, sanctions wont be lifted. Ukraine aren't in NATO so there's no compelling need to do this from a bi-lateral agreement point of view.

This kind of support goes beyond a proxy and does it not and perhaps makes Russia come to the conclusion that the West are involving themselves to an extent which considers them participants?
