Maybe I'm a bit cynical but I cant believe Putin hasn't worked through all the scenarios, including to where we are now and has already worked out his/our next moves.

The fact that the Invasion of Kiev was so weak/shoddy (so far) makes me think there is something else afoot here.

Firstly I don’t support Boris what so ever but I’d rather concentrate on what’s going on in the east that what him and his cronies are doing sure we could have another thread on that we are all well bar a few batshit Crazy people are on the same side.

I’m not so sure. He’s been very calculating and playing a long game for years now.

This seems rushed.

Abramovic sorted his british asset out fairly swiftly. Only mentioning this cos its the only one in the public eye. There'll be so much assets shifted already given the public warning of what we're 'gonna do'.

Hopefully boris and other eu leaders have their russian invested assets shifted in time......

No but we have them in mainland Europe very very close to Ukraine also the Ukrainians have been trained by the British

Wouldn’t suprise me what so ever to be honest though If nato have troops in Ukraine keeping a close eye.

The Ukranian Army has created an international voluntary division same as the Republicans did. Anyone is welcome to join.

The parallels between Spain are very apt I think. Not a Civil war ovvs but very much a struggle between progressive democratic ideologies and Conservative and autocratic ones. There's a big aspect of church ideology involved on the Russian side as well apparently.

Also like Spain basically nobody willing to throw in their hand. Although thankfully the Equivalent of the Luftwaffe seems to be on the side of the democratic faction this time.
