The Ukrainians are seriously overplaying their 'successes' imo for obvious reasons.

The conclusive is obvious and unfortunately inevitable.

Inevitable Putin will "win" this war but at a far bigger cost. In my opinion he never in a million years expected this fight back and backlash. He has to throw everything at the Ukraine now force wise. He's fucked up big time

The Russians spend more of their budget percentage wise on salaries than the US do. Pointless tidbit of info I cam across the other day.

Lads I've met through work have been trained by their navy and then chose between the navy or the international merchant navy. The caveat is they can be called back to the real navy when required as a condition of their free training.

It looks like Putins going to try to flatten Kiev in the next hour or so. This tells me that things have not gone to plan for him at all. It’s been an embarrassing disaster. There’s no way he would want to take over a destroyed country, it’s no use to him. He thought he would just roll up and install a puppet regime

Finland back in WWII is the only democracy we’ve declared war on as far as I’m aware. And that’s because they sided with the Nazis because of Russia invading them.
