People who see a centre between clear right and wrong are morally bankrupt. As I get older I am getting increasingly tired of dealing with the legions of such people I encounter in business and politics so, no, such people won't be getting an easy ride from me and will be challenged.

Morality isn’t singular, how do you deal with a devout Muslim on issues of morality? Does he not have his own sphere of morality? I’m sorry to break this to you, but you are the bad guy here.

The majority of those claiming asylum in UK are not genuine refugees, and are economic migrants - fact. Many of which have already had applications turned down elsewhere in Europe.

We should allow as many in as required providing we can cope if they have been displaced by a war.

As an aside to the thread......
Part of the reason was the Argentinian propaganda about the gurkhas. The propaganda had painted the gurkhas to be blood thirsty savages, canabilistic animals to be hated by decent Argentinian troops. The real effect was that the Argentinian troops, having heard that, were terrified at the thought of coming up against them.
