Just don't see what Putin can gain from all of this. China abstaining is a blow for him. The Ukrainians are fighting back like fuck, and sanctions and condemnation are kicking in from all angles. American airforce are swarming close by and we've just deployed forces to Estonia which Putin won't like.

I'd imagine the Russian stock market has taken another hit today as it did yesterday.
