Wonder what happened to the democratically elected Mossaddegh in Iran when he crossed America:a state-sponsored assassination is tantamount to a declaration of war
(it also violates numerous treaties as well)
plus these dictator types tend to be awfully well guarded
This, what better way to unify a countries people than "they2 have just murdered our countries leaderthese things normally happen when its an inside job, countries dont go around assassinating other leaders, in case other countries get the same idea
plus theres the martyr effect to consider
I know this wasn’t aimed at me but if it come to it and I was called back up I would die for anyone from my country anyone on here it I disagree or don’t get on with them 1000% would defend each and everyone.Question still stands. Do you want to go and give up your life in the cause?

No, but the young men you want to see us send are. You believe we have to stand up and do something about it. Not strongly enough to put yourself up for target practice though clearly.I’m not a soldier.
I hope so. This is a plea for peace. Let`s hope so for all our sake. I have to see the Kenyan ministers speech to the UN was inspiring:Can we trust the Sec Gen of the United Nations?
"I must say, President Putin: In the name of humanity bring your troops back to Russia. In the name of humanity do not allow to start in Europe what could be the worst war since the beginning of the century, with consequences not only devastating for Ukraine, not only tragic for the Russian Federation, but with an impact we cannot even foresee in relation to the consequences for the global economy in a moment when we are emerging from the COVID [pandemic] and so many developing countries absolutely need to have space for the recovery which would be very, very difficult, with the high prices of oil, with the end of exports of wheat from Ukraine, and with the rising interest rates caused by instability in international markets.
This conflict must stop - now. Thank you very much."
i can't see how saying the EU is to blame is factually true, the European Union doesn't invade nations, but the Russian Federation has this morning invaded a free nation, which wanted to join the EU club and NATO Are now we saying, farage is correct, and countries can't have freedom of choice?Whilst making it clear I think he’s a knacker the eastern block expansion of the eu has directly contributed to this , not the eu fault in any way but this seems to have riled the power mad putin

I didn’t say we should send troops there if you actually read back. I said it depended on the plan is. I’ve been thinking about it all day as it happens. No, but the young men you want to see us send are. You believe we have to stand up and do something about it. It's a tad important to be left on the depths of the Politics board
Basic invasion tactics. Airport and military sites go first, then target government buildings. Once that's done it's as good as over Ukraine. They're certainly more elite than the young lads captured on the boarder.Looking ominous if this is right. They've taken the airport outside Kyiv. Paves the way to transport more forces in to attack the city.

I agree. Although I think it's more a case of naievity, rather than being wrong. Russia were never going to silently let it happen.i can't see how saying the EU is to blame is factually true, the European Union doesn't invade nations, but the Russian Federation has this morning invaded a free nation, which wanted to join the EU club and NATO Are now we saying, farage is correct, and countries can't have freedom of choice?
Me too mate. Thats what I signed up for then and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I just wish that people who haven't experienced it and have no idea of the horrors it involves, would think a little before screaming for our lads to be put back there again.I know this wasn’t aimed at me but if it come to it and I was called back up I would die for anyone from my country anyone on here it I disagree or don’t get on with them 1000% would defend each and everyone.
Perhaps all world leaders should read Smedley Butler`s War is a Racket by one of America`s most decorated generals which he wrote after returning home after WWI. His plans to prevent future wars, is simple yet utterly brilliant. It`s a very short book but well worth a read: War is a Racket: The Antiwar Classic by America's Most Decorated Soldier: The Antiwar Classic by America's Most Decorated General: Amazon.co.uk: Butler, Smedley D., Parfrey, Adam: 9780922915866: BooksNo, but the young men you want to see us send are. a quick google shows that there has'nt been many assassinations of leaders in the Western Hemisphere since Nov63 (cant imagine what happened then)Hasn't stopped America from doing it to democratically elected South American leaders throughout their history.
