in this case it stands for

Why does it matter if something is “implausible”?

It’s a thought experiment designed to encourage someone to consider the logical implications of their choice.

It doesn’t have to be plausible. It’s just a way of reframing one’s thoughts.

Personally I think its the start of a very dark period in the world. Is the Russian intervention part of a larger challenge, alongside China, to a democratic world order. We'll find out if they invade Taiwan.

What I do know is that we couldn't have worse political leaders in the West and I'm fairly sure that's encouraged this aggression.
Interesting, like i said between both accounts most interesting.

Just read that Turkish President Erdogan and Hungary's leader Orban have condemned Russia. I always though they were allies of Russia so Putin seems to be turning Russia into a pariah state. Have China said owt yet?

Why are Russia allowing the BBC and other News agencies into Russia . The BBC has just interviewed Russians against the war ( hero's).it also showed The Russian police arresting them(the protesters)

But I can't believe Putin hasn't banned every non russian news agency .
Why not, plays into his hands if you can strike fear into the whole of Europe.

Yes, China says both sides need to de-escalate and that it is the west’s fault for w friendly with Ukraine.

How many NATO countries can be involved before NATO as a whole is involved? Loads of NATO countries were involved in Iraq.

I’m not seeing argument here…I’m just saying I don’t understand why NATO membership is overriding all our moral obligations here.

Ireland aren’t in NATO. What if Russia decided to invade Ireland. Should we do nothing?
come on mate - you're better than this

spouting implausible scenarios is'nt fostering relevant debate
