Seeing all this unfold is absolutely heartbreaking. I’m a relatively new dad, and to think there may be children that will never get a chance to become the human they could have been absolutely kills me inside. A lot of innocent people are going to pay the ultimate price for this mad man’s egotistical March on another nations sovereignty. This isn’t call of duty, it’s f***ing frightening.

NATO put a foot in Ukraine as a collective force albeit defensively, Russia will use that as an excuse to solidify their argument that the west are attacking Russia
 
So essentially, fingers crossed for Ukraine that they can defend themselves but it seemingly looks like Russia is going to take it. But NATO are saying you can go no further, defence systems etc. If they were going to do something, they would have already.

Haway the Ukraine then.

Funnily enough the Ukrainian woman I know has been in tears this morning because her city has been bombed to fuck. Her max he’d family have been told to pack suitcases and belongings ready to move out….except there’s no where for them to go as the borders are closed. The photo she just sent of half a dozen Russian helicopters flying across Kiev looked scary as fuck….the last thing on their minds is picking up arms to fight back.
 
This bloke is boring the arse off me on sky news, fuck sake everyone has been saying the same thing for weeks, diplomacy, throw down your arms, this is unacceptable. As if Putin gives a fuck, he's turned off to put grand designs on whilst his army are shelling fuck out of a country.

I was just talking about the ladies I'd seen on the news this morning. I've been in tears worrying about the poor Ukrainian people and my thoughts are with your friend and her people, it's a f***ing nightmare 😪
