We have to do something now or we lose this club

There’s nothing we can do dramatically that won’t result in disputes amongst the fans itself. Anytime I’ve been on social media and even on here at times there’s always a fair amount of people that think those angry enough to organise one aren’t “really Sunderland Supporters”. If all the fans aren’t even United in how to respond to this mess then there isn’t a lot we can do.

Protests only really work mate when they are organised and at present, there is nothing coming from any of the big fan groups/fanzines/podcasts.
Why? As much as the Mags are deluded vile idiots they big their club up and don't put up with anything less than they think they are. We sometimes play cuckold and it's heartbreaking, eternal optimism is great but at this point anyone who has anything positive to say about Sunderland AFC outside of our support has Stockholm syndrome.

The thing is, whilst I'm all for protests, what difference would it make now? We've just replaced a manager and we can't sign players until the summer.

It is what it is unfortunately, we might as well leave it until near the end of the season when we know for sure where we are. It's unlikely we'll qualify for the playoffs now mind, we look shot to bits.

Far better to actually organise a boycott than just let crowds whittle away downwards in the face of all this.
At the very leas those that go and sit there and stew until they can boo at half-time and again at full-time are wasting their own and everyone elses time.
