My manager in my last job was a Russian. If I’d still been there I would have taken her prisoner.

Would have been the most ridiculous way to be sacked tbh. Being told off for going for a piss so I called citizens arrest and sat on her waiting for the MP to take her away.

Yep and now with the Nord Stream 2 pipeline being haulted it will damage Gazprom.

Nord stream 2 is physically completed. The Germans announced today that it is being suspended, but it has been suspended since last year anyway, and was only due to be approved towards the end of this year in any case. Will todays German stance turn out to be an empty one?

Guardian report today suggests that many EU countries are trying to drag their feet on sanctions. Hungary aren’t going to do it apparently:

The UK and US are the only places where politicians and journalists are talking about the serious possibility of Russia taking Kiev. everyone else knows this is a fantasy, including Ukraine who have acknowledged as much.

I suppose Johnson and the Tories have shown they are far more adept at dealing with imaginary threats than real ones.

Ironic that many of Putin's biggest apologists on these shores are flag-waving so-called patriots. If they think they have any sort of bond with the Russian pan-Slavic nationalists, think again. Russki nationalists tend not to think much of the 'Anglos'.
