I’ll be doing the Ruts too. Being honest, I wouldn’t have bothered at £40 a ticket if it hadn’t have been the last tour.Balls. I`d liked to have done that. Saw them at the Think Tank a few years ago.
I`m off to see The Stranglers. This is their last tour and it was scheduled before Covid and unfortunately Dave Greenfield died. I just want to see them one last time. Ruts DC on too who are ALWAYS worth going to see.
reissued their only album last year but gone their own way ( love and money/ the bathers ) is talk of a reunion but don't think it will happen.I'm surprised Friends Again have never got back together for a tour
You really won't be disappointed - Both nights at Glasgow were outstandingI’ll be doing the Ruts too. Being honest, I wouldn’t have bothered at £40 a ticket if it hadn’t have been the last tour.
You all missed The Chameleons @ the Cluny last Thursday. Class. As were the Membranes who supported. Happy days.
Same here. I`ve seen them a few times but as it`s the last and we`ve had no gigs for 2 years , then it`d be rude not to!!I’ll be doing the Ruts too. Being honest, I wouldn’t have bothered at £40 a ticket if it hadn’t have been the last tour.
They’ve always been excellent when I’ve seen them like. This’ll be the 6th or 7th time I think. You really won't be disappointed - Both nights at Glasgow were outstanding
I've never seen a band enjoying themselves so much in 45 years of going to gigs
£40 for 2 hours of the Stranglers and an hour of Ruts DC is nowt when you see the likes of Del Amitri were asking £85 a ticket not that long ago
They’re still gonna be doing festivals and that. Not splitting up.Same here. I`ve seen them a few times but as it`s the last and we`ve had no gigs for 2 years , then it`d be rude not to!!
Just retiring from regular tours??? I can understand that. They’re still gonna be doing festivals and that. Not splitting up.
To be honest, this tour has been a very positive experience for both band and fans so there is a school of thought starting to emerge that this may not be the last tourJust retiring from regular tours??? I can understand that.
If they`re still in good shape and enjoying in then why not. Baz is still young enough too and he`s been doing a great job fronting the band.To be honest, this tour has been a very positive experience for both band and fans so there is a school of thought starting to emerge that this may not be the last tour
JJ Burnel is 70 on Monday and his health and fitness will be the key
As it stands I’ve never seen anyone in such good shape at 70 so I suspect that there may be another tour left in him because these past 3 weeks have reenergised everyone
Heard a lot of good things about them. Might take a punt on it.Amigo The Devil at The Cluny in April
Now what a brilliant gig that was. Even played 'wise men say' on the way out.Glasvegas tonight
Good, cos they were effin awful 5-6 year back at the Academy. Still love Geraldine mindNow what a brilliant gig that was. Even played 'wise men say' on the way out.
They were mint. Shame there was next to no one there like. Now what a brilliant gig that was. Even played 'wise men say' on the way out.
It was a similar number when they played the Independent in Sunderland but it doesn't seem to matter because they raise the roof and get everyone singing regardless of size of crowd. They were mint. Shame there was next to no one there like.
