Confirmed KLD only owns 41%

Are you incapable of reading words in brackets?
Even with the words in the brackets, and I appreciate that people aren’t trusting KLD at the moment, it would be ridiculous to suggest that he didn’t have numerous advisers and financiers working out fair value of the shares and making sure he was getting a fair price.

If that’s what he paid when he bought the shares, then the value will have been verified as fair by his family’s advisors. The only way it would be “ludicrous” now would be if the club’s value had sunk significantly in the last year.

Hoping / presuming we have KLD in pole position with voting shares, it then becomes clear that the others are only operating for financial gain from essentially confirming that the inactive members - Donald - is only staying in and keeping as many of our clubs shares as possible as part of a get rich quick scheme. It’s infuriating of course when it’s a business we all financially support.
So what is the best way to get rid ? I’m presuming (I don’t know shares well but a bit about business generally) our best hope of getting disrespectful Don out is KLD. He has the power, clout, connections to change things. Happy to hear another perspective but it feels like if we want rid of the Oxfordshire bus stop blagger turning on KLD isn’t our best option. Refocusing on chasing Donald out and probably Methven, though I excluded him cos he is at least active like it or not, is where our focus should remain and encouraging KLD down that route not turning on him may get it done.

So you didn’t read my post or the one I was replying to, nor did you read what I was talking about yet you feel qualified enough to reply.

You’ve replied to a post saying that Donald has implied that he will accept what he originally took with a post basically saying “what if it was a ludicrous amount like £1M a share (oh but I’m exaggerating about the £1M)”.

I’ve simply pointed out that if indeed Donald is willing to accept what he did in the initial sale, then it shouldn’t be “ludicrous” because KLD‘s family are not mugs (even he himself has appeared to be over the last year after what’s come to light in the last 24hrs).

There’s far too much “what if-ing” and silly “it wouldn’t surprise me if…” posts on here recently, and I might have taken that out on you or taken you out of context but I don’t think anything I said was irrelevant to anything you’ve posted or quoted this morning.

A few things from those comments by Donald.

1) I'm sure, and someone will be able to locate it somewhere, when the Alvarez hearing raised it's head they went back to Ellis Short and highlighted the issue and there had already been some money set aside to pay that up (from Short).
2) Donald says he's willing to sell up at the previously agreed price, but what if there are other conditions attached that makes that unpalatable to KLD? It's not always about the share price.
3) I assume this money they're paying in as their 'financial obligations and pro-rata to their shareholding' will be deducted from the infamous "£20m" owed when it shouldn't be? Any obligated money now should be separate as KLD isn't using the clubs' money for his obligated share.

I’m annoyed and disappointed that it feels as though KLD has purposefully misled us. However, and this may just be me being naive or overly optimistic, I am slightly reassured that some of the questionable recent decisions and lack of clarity in direction (Keane and Defoe fall into that category for me) are more likely the result of a power struggle and other influences rather than wholly being down to any shortcomings KLD may have.

Basically that’s a long winded way of saying, aye I agree. Let’s not chase KLD, if possible let’s give him a chance to run the club as he sees fit and on his terms.

So now we've got reports from both camps, a bit of guesswork on my part.

There's a division between the two camps. Both are now trying to force the others hand, Madrox to get more out of KLD, KLD to hope the fans are enough to force out Madrox.
It looks like there's been a huge fallout after the keane fiasco.

BUT the reason this doesn't really make sense is just last week KLD was seen schmoozing at the match with Methven. Again, this could've been Methven's plan, to be seen out, get the fans angry and force a buyout on his terms.

God knows

KLD like it or not is the only game In town to remove the twats. Bottom line now is its starting look a case of me or them for many fans. right now.... I've had it with these *****... I can stomach more lg1... but not if I'm lining madrox pockets

They gambled on making a quick profit on the back of the football club.
They play off defeat by Charlton exposed them, they had gambled the family silver on black and it came up red.

Now panicking and doing everything they can to maintain a hold and clearly would sell matching their own selling price.
Shocking and a mess and for now you appear to be stuck with them unless KD wants full control of the club. His motives clearly need to be known.

Parasites both of them.

The funny thing is, if not for that injury time Charlton goal it could have all gone so differently for them (on the proviso that they did actually manage to sell us in the Championship) and we would have had no idea that they were speculators who had no idea what to do if we didn’t go up in year 1.
