Now or never - Time to protest

Who are 'these'? Is that Donald and Methven or do you want KLD out of the club? If you want to get support for a protest I think you need to be very clear about what you are protesting about and why? From a personal point of view I think with where we are I am pleased regarding the appointment of Neil and pleased that we seem to improved the academy and our attempts to retain young talent.

We are 5 seasons in this division through a combination of small time club management and lack of investment. It all comes back to Madrox. We are not going to get promoted again until they go.
One season was unlucky, two was well Covid, three is running out of excuses, four is scandalous.

Great post and 100% what should happen but the first reply to this is why it probably never will.

Too many mugs who will just accept being lied to and shit on by the worst owners in our history. Pathetic behavior.
After the way you've been this past week, you must have been raging seeing his come out:lol:

Sorry like but if we were in Rotherham s position this would be barely mentioned

I don’t think your right. This strikes at the heart of the values the club in its community should be living by.
Without them the club is nothing. You can actually survive having no money and being in a low division but you can’t survive having your heart ripped out.

I'm not against the idea of a protest, although personally I'll wait and see what, if anything, comes out of the meeting. If I feel we're getting fobbed off again I'll be right up for it. Don't think mk dons is the right time for it just because there's not long to organise anything but if others want to do it then crack on, I know many won't be happy with anything they say and I can't blame them.

I'd say the same as I always do on these threads mind. We need to be very clear what we're protesting about, how we plan to protest, and what we want to see at the end of it. Without that being clear from the start nothing will ever take off.

Loads wouldn't support a protest during the games, I'd feel uneasy about it as well. I think the players are generally trying (some are just knackered) and fuck knows what poor old Alex Neil thinks he's walked into! They deserve our support. Pre or after match could be different though. Equally refusing to renew season cards until they confirm when Donald and Methven are f***ing off could be an option.

If there's broad agreement on the three questions from earlier then I'd suggest emailing RAWA about it, unless you want to organise it on your own. The more fans contacting them the more likely they, or other fan/ fan media groups might lead on it. Good luck with it, we've had the piss taken for far too long.

Managerial f*** ups aside, I'd demonstrate for more commitment from the players. The team should reflect the close community.

Worst still because I defended them over the “controlling stake” bullshit.

They have made a mess of yet another season. I don’t see how anyone can argue in defence of them but you will always find some.

If I had wanted to support a successful team I wouldn't of started following safc, they were dreadful in my first ever game, and have been poor a lot of the time since. Shareholders or owners haven't taken advantage of me over the years. I choose to go nobody forces me to go.
Teams like Bury are where they are because of lack of good management and supporter base. Supporter base strength has been over run by earnings from advertising and merchandising so means nothing unless you have a successful team. You turning up means nothing as far as success goes. Share holders in clubs are good if they put their monies where their mouths are and not just strip clubs of assets for a quick win. So continue to turn up at games and get more delusional because the current ownership have not got the same never say die enthusiasm as you mate.

Not really though is it.

Could go into administration and Madrox are gone.

William Story could buy the club and have no
money, Madrox are gone.

etc.
Madrox were almost bankrupt before KLD they brought him to save their own skin nothing else. Juan and KLD will be financing us not Donald and Charlie.

my thoughts are rather than a protest, a simple walk out on 73rd minute (or another given minute) would be a start, but maybe not this saturday as its too soon to organise.

I'm happy to walk out though. i'm normally ready to go by then anyway

i think it would be a good start, but it would rely on 80% of the ground taking part otherwise it will be ineffective.

Plenty of money has been invested since KLD came in, it's obvious he is running the club

totally agree with this. it needs to be a simple, short, sharp message telling what the protest is about

it can't simply be 'we're unhappy at being in league one for 5 seasons' or 'we want better football' or 'we want the owners to spend more money' ... its too wishy washy

it could be 'MADROX OUT' - but as has been said, without someone wanting to buy their shares, it doesn't matter if we want them to sell or even if they are willing to sell, they don't have to do anything on the back of being demanded to sell their shares

something along the lines of 'OUR CLUB' to remind them of what they are custodians of, but it doesn't really demand anything.

i'm angry about the whole thing but i'm not really sure what i want them to do, other than fuck off

That's your opinion fair enough, but these things were barely mentioned when we were doing well, as soon as we hit a bad run everything gets brought up again. Players go from great to shit, speakman went from doing a good job to shit because we didn't get Keane in.
Do you work for the club?
The typical response when someone has a different opinion

..Alex Neil can't believe his luck man managing a size of a club like ours.

Remember when we protested Murray because of the 15 point season and it spelled the end for him? How then, have we fallen to greater despair 2 divisions below, with worse management and the owners stealing our PP, have we not even made the slightest protest?

Any other club wouldn't stand up for it, imagine Everton, Villa or even WBA in our position, they'd be going mental. We seem to be accepting of it (as a whole, not individuals)
