Confirmed KLD only owns 41%

Aye I'm about 99% sure he isn't here to flip the club!

The way I see it, he has control over the football side as he's ensured the board of directors are "his" people, albeit with a representative for Donald and Methven (which they likely insisted on).

The concern for me with the deal is firstly how it was portrayed, they certainly made it feel more like kld had a majority of the shares.

I'm also concerned about funding, how does that work? Can kld inject funding if they won't match it proportionally? Can he dilute their shareholdings?

And crucially, does he plan to own 100% of the club, and when can we expect to see Donald and Methven gone for good.

The way its been handled (like various other things recently!) has been awful and he'll have to give a lot of transparency before people even start to trust him again but I don't think the secrecy was his idea. I strongly believe he wanted to come out and state the shareholdings a while ago. I've still got a bit of trust as far as KLD is concerned, but like I say he's got to be open, honest and frankly he's got to start getting some decisions right!
You're a cracking choice for rep GG, you always speak non-hysterical sense unlike the rest of us.

I have taken no interest in boardroom affairs so when you say the club have lied , it means nothing to me.

Each to their own, i find it very hard to believe fans of the club aren’t bothered about ownership concerns though

It incredible they went to such lengths to lie and hide their tracks and they ultimately had to come clean because Methven is so f***ing stupid he couldn't stay away from games.
It would have come out at some point in the future. But there’s no doubt that utter inept, self absorbed, narcissistic failure of a man has accelerated that revelation to the speed of light. He just couldn’t resist the cameras. And he called us thick :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Did the statement actually say that though, I am sure the words were 'controlling stake' or words to that effect, which, is completely different and may have been taken by many as majority(me included). We all wanted them out, and most of us believed he must have acquired 50+ % to have a controlling stake but that was in hindsight wrong. We have definitely been mislead but I don't think lied to, there is a subtle difference, although it doesn't feel like it at the moment.
Hi, regardless of what the statement said what KLD did say quote…”I want this to be open and transparent between us”

He and the the other shareholders have seen enough coverage that all local media, social outlets etc have repeatedly made reference to KLD as the major shareholder at the club, KLD or anyone else has never come out to clarify otherwise, which is simply a disgrace to the clubs supporters. This is the lowest point ever between the basket case of a club and it’s magnificent supporters who deserve so much better than this.

I genuinely fear for where we go now. For me KLD must buy the others out or seek to find another buyer, there lies the problem.

"Yeah but technically."

We're not f***ing stupid, we know when something stinks. They'd be well advised not to continue patronising us with this kind of bullshit any longer.
Issue is we do nothing

Mag type post, so big alert here, but until we f***ing protest these ***** out of the club, they will not leave with us attending and giving them the highest L1 attendances for shite football

Probably been said in the past 80 pages or so but I feel proper sorry for Alex Neil now. Blokes walked in to a shit storm. Fans are planning protests (rightly so in my opinion) and the general atmosphere will be minging Saturday probably. Couple that with him not the man most wanted for the job.

He actually needs our unwavering support really but this has fucked that and the ones above him are going to get nothing but abuse at the weekend, justifiably so too.

The sad reality is we won't be protesting. Sorry to say it, our fans are great in many ways, but we just don't protest. We need to stop handing them money hand over fist.

Sure, we take pride in not being idiotic Mags who shout at shops, but we do still need to protest the Eton *****.

Yep. Again, the devil is in the detail, it's ambiguous enough to be true if challenged, and it's not an official filing. They could have said he'd been named him King of the Stadium of Light if they wanted, it wouldn't have been true either.
I am guessing KLD's control will be limited to appointing a board of directors. Presumably the ordinary shareholdings and prevailing pre-emption rights will dictate whether new share capital can be raised and who has the opportunity in which proportion to buy them, i.e. in other words the control afforded to KLD will not be such that he could bulldoze through a new rights issue knowing fine will at a high enough value the others couldn't afford it. I am also guessing D, S & M would have ensured this cannot happen and probably hence why KLD has under 50% in the first place?
