Confirmed KLD only owns 41%

I'm not massively bothered by the percentage announcement to be honest. I admit, it's not exactly what I expected, but on a high level I trust KLD 1000% more than Donald. Sartori comes across to me a massive asset to the club. He's got the 'ear' and the respect of some mega rich individuals (as has KLD), and you never know when you're going to need those contacts. Methven is a mouthpiece pure and simple, not enough clout to be of worry.
KLD came into this with a plan and a lot of extremely experienced football/business people behind him for advice.
Plans will inevitably change depending on how the football side is going and also how other business side of things change.
One thing I'm sure of is KLD and his family have a huge history in football and is massively respected for it. He wants to make his name and his families name even bigger and even more respected just like his dad did. No way on God's earth will he/they contemplate being made to look like fools by a tinpot small time insurance salesman like Donald.
I reckon we chill out, have a bit of patience and we'll see the benefits over time. It's taken years and years to get as low as we've felt recently, and it might take a few years to get the good times back.
Spot on. Disappointing that he alone doesn't have the majority shareholding, but him a Sartor i do.

how?

honestly, if you think Methven is able to get some kid to dip into his multi-billion quid trust fund without his and the family lawyers having their mits all over it you think a lot more of him and his talents than I do. He couldn't even sort out the music for the players to run out to let alone run a football club now we think he can dupe KLD, his family, the family lawyer Igor Levin and Louis-Dreyfus Company Chief Financial Office (whose revenues are 36.5 billion quid if wikipedia is to be believed) Patrick Treuer is for the birds am afraid. these billionaires don't throw money around without protections and a lot of them, look at when short came in to rescue the Irish consortium he did so with a ton of guarantees and eventually became sole owner.

reckon his mam found out he bought a bit of the football club whilst reading the papers?

Steve Davison was an appointment by KLD, his brother is on the board, Patrick Treuer and Igor Levin and if KLD goes I would imagine all those would follow. Steve Davidson was also running big business before he came to us and I very much doubt he would leave that company where he was for decades to be answerable to Methven and Donald, I mean its laughable.

the fact that KLD is ever present at the matches and the Defoe pictures, the appointment of Keane did feel like the actions of a billionaires play thing.

Bob Murray was also singing the praises of KLD having said an unfortunate term to describe what Methven and others have done to the club.

I have long been uncomfortable with KLD and his team doing the work, putting the money to get us out of the league and the gruesome trio sell their shares at a premium compared to what they paid for them presumably to KLD.
And has any of that proved remotely positive for the club?

He's not doing such a great job of avoiding looking like a prick by them already, let's be honest.

Well, I for one won’t be back until they’re gone and I certainly won’t be renewing unless it changes. Just goes to show exactly what they think of the fans. Absolutely nothing.

To be a Shill/Patsy, turn-up with his little dogs and seem a canny lad until we are promoted and they can all make a tidy profit, with little of us caring to look back as they sail off into the sunset.
Sadly, we've completely fucked that-up and its all come out in the wash.

Asset?

Asset?

The fella dines on the fans dime with pints and selfies once a year but he’s an asset?

Fancy writing all that out thinking it’s true

Paid about a quid for the club then ran off to Uruguay never to be seen again and let Donald and Methven run the club into the ground.

Knows rich people though so he's sound 😂

Like asking Fred West to lay ya patio and being buzzing you've found a pearl necklace on your lawn.

I can't be bothered to read most of the last 55 pages but only KLD is on the board of directors so it is still debatable what influence the other shareholders have on the day-to-day operations. That said, they appear to have been influential in the managerial appointment so questions have to be asked and the sooner SD and CM fuck off the better.

The difference between 41% kld and Donald 34% is probably more money than I have, but in terms of Donald being able to take controlling share, even majority share, again is too close for comfort. Bit like automatics and playoffs…

The bit i dont know is what he was promised.

I would imagine that in normal circumstances say we want to buy a million pound player (ooo the days) he would invest £410k they would invest the other £590k. Now if they are not playing ball and want him to invest the full million why would he? He increases the value of their shares a minimum or no gain to himself.
Assuming that’s what they want to do; the other more sustainable alternative is the million pound player is funded from club turnover and the owners don’t have to put anything extra in.

He's every bit as much of the shower of shit as any of them though.

If I'm being charitable I think he believed he could run the club and buy them out when we got promoted (they want their money back / profit)?

But in doing so he's done the one thing no one on earth should have done after the takeover - mislead the fans and take us for mugs.
Is it naive on his behalf...Simon Jordan alluded to this last week about his age and being naive.

Gonna buy some shares in a local bakery. Maybe 20 percent. Under brand new made up rules, I'm gonna have the most votes and decide to manufacture dildos instead. Nobody can do anything about it. f***ing hell
