Confirmed KLD only owns 41%

And is an old friend of the family. It was also KLD who appointed him to the board of SAFC.
I'm not massively bothered by the percentage announcement to be honest. I admit, it's not exactly what I expected, but on a high level I trust KLD 1000% more than Donald. Sartori comes across to me a massive asset to the club. He's got the 'ear' and the respect of some mega rich individuals (as has KLD), and you never know when you're going to need those contacts. Methven is a mouthpiece pure and simple, not enough clout to be of worry.
KLD came into this with a plan and a lot of extremely experienced football/business people behind him for advice.
Plans will inevitably change depending on how the football side is going and also how other business side of things change.
One thing I'm sure of is KLD and his family have a huge history in football and is massively respected for it. He wants to make his name and his families name even bigger and even more respected just like his dad did. No way on God's earth will he/they contemplate being made to look like fools by a tinpot small time insurance salesman like Donald.
I reckon we chill out, have a bit of patience and we'll see the benefits over time. It's taken years and years to get as low as we've felt recently, and it might take a few years to get the good times back.

Sounds like KLD can't do anything without running it past the Madrox clowns.

If I'm being charitable I think he believed he could run the club and buy them out when we got promoted (they want their money back / profit)?

But in doing so he's done the one thing no one on earth should have done after the takeover - mislead the fans and take us for mugs.
Do you really think if Kld got us promoted Donald and meth- man would sell their shares? you read here here first they will only sell if were near to going bust! They were desperate for money so they found a clown and here we are!

Here comes the propaganda.

Someone owning 34% of the club has no representation on the board.

That's f***ing weird governance, if remotely true.
It’s not uncommon.

I used Cheltenham as an example in a different thread. None of our three biggest shareholders are on the Board. Together they own 70% of shares and one is an unknown company in the Cayman Islands.

Conversely, not all of the Board own shares but they have invested time and sponsorship over the years.

The Board run the club, and only speak to the owners in times of crisis or exceptional success. The Board run a balanced ship so the club sustains itself. The owners do not put money in apart from any one off exceptions (talking once every five or ten years) and even then only for more strategic investments, not for players.

We also have a fan elected director on the Board representing the Trust who own almost 10% of shares.

He's already been made to look like a fool by a tinpot insurance salesman.

Now he has to front up the RAWA meeting while those two rats scarper and leave him to take the flack.

Hoping Kyrils put this out there to apply the pressure on the rest to sell him remaining shares. Cant see any other reason as to why he’d willingly put himself under scrutiny like this for zero reward, he’s been happy enough not telling us in the past, why now..

Diversion tactics. For all we know Donald might have had no control over the day running of the club and they half haven't made an arse of things in the past few weeks. How to get around it, push it onto Donald and Methven and just sit back and play Mr Innocent.

If it is that (not suggesting it is at all), it hasn't half worked.

I'm still inclined to give KLD the benefit of doubt.

I think he wants 100% of the club and is playing the long game to get it, putting up with a crappy deal initially.
He had a strong negotiating position and Donald was struggling to foot the bill for covid. I can’t believe KLD is only involved at 41%. Seems to me like he’s helping them out & they’re all in it long term more than anything. To me anyways.

The desire is to sell young players to better clubs to reduce the need for shareholder investments. Donald will be all over that if it lets him keep his shares.
