4: What is KLD's long term plan for the club from his own shareholding perspective? Does he have any desire to take more financial control, and how amenable are the old ownership group to that happening? Do they have an ideal timescale or trigger point (eg: promotion)?
5: Can the club owners collectively commit to being more transparent in their financial dealings and the club ownership in future? Trust needs to be rebuilt, and part of that is not obstructing our view and hoping we won't find out. We will, and it'll be worse when we do.

I'm hoping they realise that they don't benefit by hiding anything. When it comes out, it just reinforces the idea that something nefarious is going on.

Perhaps he has a controlling majority - maybe there was an NDA in place. Last time he was asked about the share split he said it would be revealed in due course and so it has. He still gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

How does that work then? KLD and his lot vote to relay the pitch and they send a bill to SD for 34% of the cost (simplistic example I know).
Or is it the case that although KLD may have overall control of decisions but will have to operate in a financial environment decided upon by the madrox lot?

Its a really strange situation. Possibly the most worrying element is the possibility that it is KLD's youth and inexperience that has got him into this mess. He has been naive at best and needs some good advice from the other fellas he brought onto the board because he's in big trouble. Without fans support owners often have to go at some point.

I hope so but the thing is his hands are tied now.

Far from having the clout he's in a position now where he's unable to spend because it'll be lining the chancers pockets.

The other 3 can basically veto him on anything and everything if they so desire.

It's a proper shit show and we deserve better.

The only way for him to save face now is if he somehow manages to gain full control which isn't going to happen because he's basically being held to ransom by the three other stooges.

they agree a budget at the start of the year..with an amount requird to be out in by each....and agree on what to spend it..
they had to do the above to get the league to approve the takeover..and the league asked for proof of funds from the madrox group..which delayed the takeove a bit.

I agree with putting a recruitment strategy in place and utilising data etc - all very sensible and I'd give credit to whoever at the club at least seems to be trying to put that in place. It still seems clear to me though that the owners of the club are limited in what they can spend (or they just don't want to spend) and use FFP as an excuse to hide behind. We're the biggest club in the league and get the biggest attendance by a mile, that should count for something at this level.

Put it this way, if the Saudi murderers took us over in the summer would we have been scratting around for frees like Corry Evans and random kids on loan? I seriously doubt it.
 
what if he didn't declare knowing fine well this bed pissing mess would happen? so better to try and get in a decent position before it happens and the pitch forks are sharpened.

speakman is currently loving this. gets him out of the firing line again. then if we lose, it'll be Neil on the blocks or probably Doyle, Cirkin or Evans back as the whipping boys. Is Gooch available? they'll probably play him just as a smokescreen for the abuse.

The club has allowed all media outlets to report at the time and subsequently that KLD had a MAJORITY shareholding ie at least 51%…. He hadn’t and they have never tried to clarify that to us

So while he might have operational control he has to work within the parameters set by them?
The whole thing is an absolute mess, wonder how it works with the money SD said he was going to put back in.
