Shady is the best word that comes to mind. KLD will buy out the rest of the clowns shares. if we get promoted these shady characters will have another round of investment to come up with which will force there hands and KLD will take over there shares my thoughts…KLD is not going to spend big money until they are off the books…
Maybe, but he is complicit in this, why not just come out and say that at the start? I really don't know how we are supposed to believe a word they say now.

If he was prepared to spend big money he would have bought us outright or bought elsewhere. Hes just another hangeron.

So why would the club announce this to the Athletic??? Any confirmed club source?

My reading of that is that they announced it to fans groups ahead of the meeting.

Oh?
By the way?
The hole you're in is deep enough mate, no need to bring a JCB to this thread.

So how much did KLD actually put in then? There was a suggestion of 40 million, but that now seems bizarre for a share of the club that he doesn't even own.

Fans bought season tickets of the back of KLD coming in and the ownership group sat there and intentionally mislead those fans into thinking a dawn was about to begin...what a set of f#cking arsewipes!

We don't know the contractual commitments set in legal terms - 41% is a hell of a slice to buy but simply have no power, conditions on the board membership for a period of time may well have been written in to the purchase.

Again - if anything like this applied, then they could and would have told us about it today, to sweeten the pill of the lie.

They haven’t sweetened the pill because there’s nothing to sweeten it.

People need to stop fixating on the board members. They are just the managers in place to run day to day operations. They answer to the owners, and ultimately take their direction from the owners. Otherwise they won’t be directors for long.

This, I struggle to accept, that the Louis-Dreyfus family with their experience and the two long term associates are going to be buying 41% without a lot of guarantees. I doubt Methven and Donald would/could dupe them.

Not true. I literally posted it when we were top

Back in October/November or last month when we were only top because we had eight games in hand on everyone in Jan?

If you did fair enough, but all I can say is I can't remember it being much of a topic on here when we were doing well. I still think if we'd have had a successful season this issue wouldn't have bubbled up anywhere near like it has.

KLD’s letter to supporters contains two key things:

1. Donald and Methven are not on the Board and do not have involvement in decision making.

2. All shareholders are meeting financial obligations and are putting in “shareholder funding” to cover losses from Covid.
KLD is a proven liar and therefore I wouldn’t believe a word he says frankly. The signings we’ve made and the managerial appointments like Johnson scream of Donald and Methven appointments. We were told Johnson was KLDs man, clearly utter bullshit

They knew what they were doing. It’s a calculated lie, wrapped in a non-disclosure agreement and wooly, evasive press releases.

This was always a possibility. For some reason, it was waved away by several on here who are seen as reliable sources of business operations.

Regardless of the share allocation now, there are two main issues:
1. The funding as a result of that shareholder breakdown
2. The club have deliberately misled (again) in an attempt to keep the wolf from the door

Those are two major concerns to have because funding is a potential problem for the effective functioning of the club and even if it’s not, people will certainly now not trust that the funding and good intention is there.

We aren’t a well run or organised club on or off the park. That’s a fact. Is that as a result of the club ownership arrangements or because the wrong people are in the wrong jobs? That’s up for debate. It could even be both.

Happy times
Agreed. I'm not massively worried by the shares if KLD has absolute control apart from the points you've raised.

Although it would be better for everyone if Kyril got rid of the others altogether. Some will always be restless while they're around in any capacity and I'm not sure I like the influence they could have, even if it's not decision making.
