IPL 2022 auction


Some teams have picked up some bargains, Roy bairstow and M Marsh not going for much, Pooran is decent enough but hetmeyer isn't that good

A team paid more for the u19 South African star than Roy. Which is insulting to a world class batsman.

Seems like all the overseas spinners apart from Rashid khan and hasraranga unsold. Them being pretty gun batters helps.

But guess there is an arrogance with the Indian spinners and save their money for overseas batters/all rounders/fast bowlers.

I agree regarding Roy, however his struggles against spin in this competition in the pastwill have gone against him.

However better player now, although on those wickets which much rather have Bairstow in my side
 
I’m not surprised Steve Smith never got selected. I’m watching him play a T20 match just now and he’s clogging up the innings. He lost all the momentum Australia had.
