Know a Norwich supporter through work and also loves him.

It’s what he does here however and we know the pressure will be x 100 felt at the last 2 clubs he’s been at.

Does make a nice change from the stuff we had from Bristol City fans and Johnson like

Like the mad Italian bastard.
Loved DiCanio like - Going to football with him in charge was like a full on day with hookers and blow 😂

In his interview Alex stated that he likes the pressure and performs better when it is there… ( although you could argue that his Norwich side folded and subsequently went down after we beat them there 3-0 under Allerdyce )

From a home and away season ticket holder at Preston.

Good appointment is Alex Neil mate. First two seasons at North End he was excellent, good fast pressing football. Had us in contention for most of that time, ultimately no investment cost him in the end as it always does at Deepdale. He'll get you up imo.
Good to hear

Its always positive when fans of all his previous clubs have mostly good things to say about him

Really happy with this appointment

Seems a long time ago joining this board and giving you the full DiCanio expectation.
Love you miserable northern bastards like my Brothers now. 🍺
Good to hear

Could be a lot worse having appointed Steve Evans and what previous fans thought of that fat piece of lard 😂

My Ex’s dad was a Hamilton fan and couldn’t speak highly enough of him…
Would’ve loved Keano just for the ride, but my head says this is probably the better appointment…

No investment you say 🤔

My marra @Pne4Eva says the same

Worked down there at the time. General consensus was overwhelmingly positive and that the (now late) owner was holding them back every time they started to show signs of pushing on.

Went to Deepdale a few times and the football was enjoyable to watch.
Edit: Aye, just had a bit of a think about it and it was around 2018. Neil had them in contention for the playoffs; so what do the powers-that-be do in January, give them a shot in the arm, give them a boost? Nope, they cash in on Hugill and sign a couple of cheap duffers.

It’s not Alex Neil fault that Keane turned us down

Hope he is a success here and can get us promoted , least he isn’t being slated by previous club supporters the way Johnson was

Get in, sticking a tenner on us winning the league
We would have to will all our games and Rotherham and Wigan would have to lose 5-6 of their remaining games .....very very unlikely ! give your money to Bradley foundation instead!

Such a pity he wasn’t in 2-3 weeks ago when there was still a real chance of the top 2. The 15 games he has been given are pretty much just rehearsals for the playoffs imo.
It really is and in a strange way its worked well for Neil. Top 2 expectation is low and minimum required is top 6 and learning about his players. We may see some excel too now that Charlie Chaplin has gone. I think he's a wise choice given our circumstances.

maybe, but I'm not convinced, I probably worded that wrong...Wigan will probably win every game after this month, and cannot see Rotherham not getting 99pts tbh
So much can happen in the next 15 games. 95 points will get us up 99 will see us champions. That being said 15 wins in a row is a huge ask
