We don’t have the sort of fan base to protest. Not everyone is pissed off. The amount of fans you see clapping the players off after we get hammered is unbelievable.

If a protest was organised, there’d be a couple of hundred there at best.

Doberman struggles to get supporters to help with the flags, do you think anyone will be arsed to protest.

Personally, I think the fanzines etc should be tweeting about wanting answers. Social media seems to be a better form of protests these days as most fans just want to get pissed and watch the match.

The last time the fanzines did the #donaldout thing a few year back it did seem to get a reaction.

I don't think this exact time is right for a protest. But if that time presents itself I.e. last home game of the season and can't make the play offs and club completely stone walling any questions on ownership I think you'd be surprised in terms of numbers interested in joining in with something.

But I agree generally about your point. A lot of our support will just not voice dissatisfaction towards the owners. It's like they're granted a free pass to do what they want. This thread is even littered with people asking what would people be protesting about. I mean come on man. Its like they purposefully look away to what is happening at ownership level.

I was going to add fierce eye rolling n'all but it wouldn't transmit well from the terraces

As an aside what's the world record for a mass tantrum
Doubtless held by the the decapitators, a mere stone's throw north. Not sure of the precise number, but divide the McWhirter integer value by 1000, apply the square mean error & you'll be close....

I can't wait to see what chant the protesters will use.

"What do we want?"

"We want an open discussion regarding the share percentages and whether or not they have any say in the day to day running of the club."

"When do we want it?"

"Now!"

That’s because we are a classier fan base than them up the road. Whilst we’ll give the team any stick need during the game some people see clapping as a view that we’re still on their side.

Not that I’d be like that but then I don’t boo either. I like to get behind the team when on the pitch as it’s basic sports psychology that players improve when cheers on than being a scapegoat.
