well it's not what most of us wanted but at least we've got someone qualified for the job in the dugout tomorrow. couldn't take another game of Dodds and Proctor playing tiddlywinks on the sidelines whilst everything crashes and burns

He’s a good manager, the majority of those unhappy with it are more pissed off at the fact it’s taken so long and got carried away with the Keane nostalgia (me included the last few days).

I was fully expecting McCann or Lennon so I’m pleasantly surprised.

I can acknowledge it’s a good appointment and still be upset the ownership were so incompetent to take as long as they did and hint on social media it was Roy Keane. It’s been a mess.

Roberts did more in ten mins than the German lad did all neet earlier this week, like Clarke he looks to be in the wrong division at times. Give the three of em a few games with Pritchard in the middle and the bookies will be hoying money at those who got on Stewart to be top scorer In the hope they’ll cash in.
Well done KS.
Dajaku flatter to deceive massively imo and don't understand what people are seeing tbh, very very average. Clarke and Roberts both look to be exciting on the ball and would offer much more. That 3 are as good as any in the league, so get them playing. I'd then go Matete and Winchester in midfield as our 2 most physical. Wright for Doyle if fit.

You can't say that man, they'll lynch you.

They can't get over the fact that no matter how much "the process" was a pain in the arse, ultimately it was their blue eyed boy who said no.
I wanted Keane but looking at the reaction on here with it falling through, maybe it’s for the better. Giving up so much control to somebody who could walk at a blink and the sycophants on here making every excuse for him could be a disaster waiting to happen.
The one thing I will agree with a lot of people on here is this process by the club is horrific…they better get their shit together quick!!

Aye. That’s about my thoughts. Evans/Winchester is pretty much the same thing. Wright/Baath are both slow but so is Doyle.

Last couple of weeks have been a compete disaster for the club. All faith in Speakman and "the process" has evaporated, he oversaw the sale of Flanagan and didn't bring in a replacement and appointed the two Muppets to take charge of the first team squad whilst he pontificated over the new manager. The season is over in terms of automatic promotion and lets' face it, it's unlikely we'll go up via the playoffs given how mentally fragile the team is. The club will see a significant drop in income after this imo and it could have been easily avoided.

He’s German and from Bayern is what they’re seeing. If he’d born in Grimsby and joined from Barnsley his case would be being got on.
Nee flights or team bus these days?
Not on L1 money.

Anyone else reckon KLD’s age has any bearing on us looking at/hiring younger managers?

Lee Johnson - young
Dodds - young
Alex Neill - young

Well he doesn't flatter to deceive massively. He's scored 4 and assisted 4 in 18 starts. He's frustrating but he gets into good positions
And yet he hasn’t been officially announced as manager/coach yet. This club man.
Does it really matter?

I'm more than happy with Neil, prefer him to Keane. I think Keane has strung us along to be honest and his vanity has got the better of him, if he was so desperate to get back to managing/coaching he would have made concessions on his demands. I think the club have done well to keep others in mind and not just put all their eggs in one basket. Shame it took so log but hopefully it will be worth it. Now just praying Wigan do a Sunderland and implode due to fixture pile up.
