Is this as case of signed and sealed and just not confirmed?

Or is it a case of not over the line yet and we won’t meet the players and so on until tomorrow?

Or god forbid will be in stands tomorrow at best.

Don't let it worry you mate 👍
When I was told yesterday AN had the job I did contemplate not putting it on here just in case it fell through (which happens in football)
But I just thought f**k it ! It's solid info from inside the camp, if it turns out different then so what, I've posted in to try and keep posters in the loop and certainly NOT for any kudos, cause that shit means nowt to moi !
😂

Don’t recall saying anything about Poyet, and was far more than just myself claiming Keane was done and dusted although I may have been the first. Think it’s the first thing I’ve got wrong on here from anything I’ve posted, but I’ve had too many jibes like this on here to post out in future so I’ll knock it on the head.

Ignore them fella, most of us realise things can change quickly and enjoy your posts

I don’t think he’s a bad choice , he has a much better record than Keane to be fair and Johnson, it’s the way the club has gone about it that’s been a farce and the transfer window leaving us way short at the back. He will do well to get this team in the play offs. we will should get right behind him and this young side who need us to stand any chance of going up. you do have to really question speakman and the board, whoever they are and if we fail this season huge questions need to be asked of them.
Not sure what this "farce" narrative is grounded in. Do you think clubs have candidates on hold, having conducted negotiations and everything beforehand, interviewing them while there was another person in charge, etc.? I think the club has handled things well - brought in what looks like strong additions, pulled the trigger on Johnson at the right time, and started interviewing right away. The reason why it took so long - it seems to me - is that they had a tough decision to make regarding their potential candidates. The club really can't win on these matters, because the fans are convinced that we're run by inept, complacent, unambitious people from top to bottom. I think the decisions that have been made shows that this isn't the case. If we hadn't lost the two games following Johnson's sacking, there would be no talk of the club handling this matter badly.

Or even worse it's not happening at all and we'll end up with McCann or Lennon. Until he's stood with scarf above his heed I won't allow myself to think it's a done deal. Especially after the last few days.

Totally agree with this. However, I would add that there is a chance that, like the fans, KLD/Speakman has gone with their heart rather than their head in chasing Keane. Keane was always a massive risk as we saw with how he walked out last time after an awful home defeat. If the club had appointed Neil last week and taken all the flack for turning Keane down there would have been outrage but it possibly would have been more sensible.

From the outside I think Neil is a very good appointment. Think most League One clubs would be delighted with it.

Probably won't be the most exciting football but at this point you just need to get promoted and stabilise in the Championship and I think he's the best bet to do that from the names mentioned.
