I haven't got time to read 22 pages. Is he through to the next round of interviews or claiming custody of Dan Neil?

It’s a typical Methven/Donald appointment. It’s glaringly obvious. We aren’t going anywhere with this crowd running things. Are we allowed to think he's possibly the best of a bad bunch if it'll keep you happy?
Why? Do you know if money was the problem with Keane?Whoever gets the job can now be identified, confidently, as "a cheap option".
Did you miss the fact that Keane turned us down ?I’d have appointed Keane last Monday and been embarking on a massive PR push to get fans back in the stadium and roaring us to promotion.
It doesn’t matter though. It’s not my job. The people whose job it is have been failing for years and continue to do so. It’s easy when people let you off with it.
So we shouldn’t expect it to get better?
Maybe.Maybe they wanted to appoint him last Monday and there was a sticking point, possibly the club wanting him to move into the area. Do you think the club should give in to all his demands? What would happen in any future negotiations if they did?

We'll have to agree to disagree. I doubt Donald and his mate had much or anything to do with this. It’s a typical Methven/Donald appointment. It’s glaringly obvious. We aren’t going anywhere with this crowd running things.
Waiting for the right opportunity but obviously our club don't match his ambition. I certainly wasn't one of the betwetters wanting Johnson out see where that has got us in a week..certainly won't be getting on this mystery machine as they ain't got a ScoobyRolls Royce ? A bloke that hasn’t managed in 11yrs
Think some need to put their tampax back in over Keane, why’s Keane never took on another manager job in 11yr ?
I don’t know anyone who is happy with the club, except the brain trust on here who will convince themselves they can do no wrong:This is when we brainwash ourselves into thinking he's a good appointment and later realise our first instinct was correct and it's another crap manager.
Who’s defending those in charge? This has been as big a shit show as I’ve known in my 54yrs supporting the idiots. KLD and KS have undoubtedly made twats of themselves this week. That enough for you?How would I know?
So now you do to have to just have a preferred name; you have to have say down for talks with them, to have an opinion?
Amazing how far people will move the goalposts to defend those on charge.
“his mate” was sat in the stand next to the “owner” the other night as Cheltenham embarrassed us.We'll have to agree to disagree. I doubt Donald and his mate had much or anything to do with this.
I suspect significantly less than the amount of people convincing themselves that someone who hasn’t managed a club for 11 whole years and who has had one good season in the (less than five) he’s managed is a good appointment. The amount of people convincing themselves that Alex f***ing Neil is a good appointment is really bleak.
Another ParkinsonThis is when we brainwash ourselves into thinking he's a good appointment and later realise our first instinct was correct and it's another crap manager.

From what has been said Donald was the one who most wanted Keane, which makes sense as he is a football supporter and so is heart over head which is what I think the wish for Roy Keane to return was anyway.Maybe.
Maybe the owners have actually being doing everything perfectly this whole time and they’re just unlucky. Maybe Methven is a lovely bloke who respects the north east. Maybe Donald isn’t a fat chancer. Maybe Speakman isn’t a clip board swot. Maybe KLD isn’t here to take the heat off the aforementioned losers.
Johnson’s nivver got one club promoted nivver mind two.I seem to remember that was Johnson’s claim to fame too. He nearly got Bristol City to the playoffs.
Let’s hope Neil (if appointed) makes a better job of it.
It’s a bit harsh mate. Norwich and Preston fans on the whole seem complimentary about the bloke. This is when we brainwash ourselves into thinking he's a good appointment and later realise our first instinct was correct and it's another crap manager.
Exactly what I’ve been thinking about as well.I can recall fans convincing themselves that Wilkinson and Cotterill would work![]()
