Why not, clubs like Bradford, Barnsley, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Brentford, Wigan have all managed it.
Quite a lot of these clubs were promoted well before the real money started to appear in the Championship, now you need to invest quite heavily to get up (see Brentford and Bournemouth from your list). PNE’s best chance was about 20 years ago when they lost in the play-off final, these days it’s become harder and harder for clubs like them to compete at that level.

I dont believe it was ever going to be Keane. They've got into a position and tried to calm it and probably gave him a poor offer ao he knocks it back.

I don’t disagree mate. I know for a fact we backtracked previously when considering Keane and this time they foolishly let stuff leak and lost control of the situation.

“Key” All of them can’t be key players. There’s not one since Maja been worth keeping thats gone.
My point was that Neil would be joining a club where a complete buffoon will be able to veto him on transfers and other footballing matters.

Hes utter chod no better than Johnson.. Phil parkinson all over again. Club is ran like a carousel, round and round we go. I for one won't be getting back on till these morons leave the club. Keane saw straight through them I expect. Gone from a prospective rolls Royce to a dull Robin reliant
Rolls Royce ? A bloke that hasn’t managed in 11yrs

Think some need to put their tampax back in over Keane, why’s Keane never took on another manager job in 11yr ?
