I don’t get these fans that says that’s them done and not going back. Aye it’s shite and I’m just as gutted as anyone else but he’s turned us down and we move on. Might be a shite next appointment but I’ll never not go and support the lads.

To be fair its speculation on my part. I watched KS interview before the Doncaster game and he doesn't come across as a Keane type of person. In fact he looked like Methen's love child.

Fair enough, always thought it was slightly from behind. Still disgraceful, and reinforces the point that he won’t confront things in the right way, hence my earlier bottle job comment.

you could be right, my point is, does he know he has to work with DOFs? they werent really around as much a decade ago, when he was on the dfrontline?
 
Mad that the board have failed so badly with expectation management since being in this league. Time and time they talk a good game but fail to deliver. It's embarrassing.
 
This might seem ott to some but feck it, after expecting Keano back, when we end up with McCann I'm done for the coming months. Sick to death of taking the cheap and dull option, never in a million years is he cut out to manage a club this size. Just wasting time, money and casuing more shite for the fans.

There’s a myth going round about McCann, did he not get a championship side relegated and then win league 1 with a Championship side only to then be sacked in the championship?

Football is about riding waves and changing when necessary. Keane would have given us lift and created a wave of momentum. It will eventually end, it always goes, but at least he’d have done something.

How do any of the other candidates create a wave?

We've signed Pritchard, Evans & Batth who all fit that description age wise (plus of course Defoe who is even older) so the club is obviously willing to consider them. Hard to get those players when the window is shut & not another window on the horizon though.

ok, let me rephrase it, does he intercat very often with DOFs and know what they do, and how a head coach fits into that?

I called him a bottle job, you disagreed, I provided some examples of how this is the case. On that basis I’d suggest he is not suitable managerial material. Having seen the job to be undertaken he might not fancy it, bottling it if you will, leading to speculation about ridiculous wage demands, perhaps as a smokescreen to cover his in deficiencies
