All the past 10 days has shown is no single person is in charge at the club and how the FA thinks our club is ran by legitimate people is beyond me.
Presumably, one group wanted Keane but the other group have sabotaged the deal finances.

To me the problem is we have 2 different sides of the club and weirdly a group of fans calling for unity but behind which group ? as the side I supported clearly wanted Keane.

I was never convinced that Keane was the right choice anyway, but I'd have accepted it if he had come in. The word is that it's now between McCann, Neil and Lamouchi. For me, Neil 1st, the Lamouchi, then McCann.

Yes, it's not exactly encouraging, is it? Then you see what we see: the team imploding once they're not winning, the poor fucker Dodds hung out to dry, the abject decision making etc. Then he gets to meet them in person. Maybe he asks them questions. Maybe he doesn't like their answers. Maybe he looks at it in the round & says to himself, nah, I'll stick with dog-walking. Or maybe he even thinks, if I hang on a bit longer, I might get a better offer elsewhere. Who knows? But one thing I think is fair to say about Keane: he's no fool.

This, definitely. He’d have made himself available and would have had realistic expectations.

I usually try to stay positive but there is nothing about this that looks good.

I wanted Keane but after the last few results I'm not fussed about him. I just want a proven coach to get us organised and playing properly. A one that shores up our defence and can play football rather than punting long balls to a lone striker.

They might also remember the buzz they got on a match day, looking forward to press conferences, brilliant away days with last minute winners…being a relevant club in English football. There’s no question it would have been a risk, it probably wasn’t the long term solution, but it certainly would have breathed a bit of life and excitement into the club. Something not had in far too long.
 
Warnock 'til the end of the season, promotion would be a bonus. I honestly think the club have written off this season though.
German reserve team manager in for the summer.
 
I said a few days ago Keane had himself a nice little number on TV. A very popular pundit and Sky and ITV would have been rewarding him handsomely financially. Ultimately we are an established League One Club these days, and maybe the salary he was demanding was simply out of the reach of the club.

Not sure where they turn now. Probably McCann but we'll see.
