Should we move on now? If he hasn’t signed by now either we can’t agree to his demands or Keane is taking too long to decide. As it is always said, nobody is greater than the club. The opportunity is one of the best he’ll get so tell him to sign this morning or we move on.

Here is the link to the full story

It does mention about no agreement before donny and tuseday. Which if we're to believe some of those rumours. We've gone back and given him what he wants

Northern Echo reckon talks were held yesterday face to face with Keane in Manchester and an agreement in their words 'was impossible to broker' hopefully the club make them look daft and announce it today

Impossible to broker before the Doncaster or Cheltenham games it said

I couldn’t care less is Steve Keen got appointed at this stage.

I just had a look a the last 6 games ‘form’ table. Us and Wimbledon are in 23rd and 24th place. Looks like Wimbledon will get off the bottom on Saturday.

The club are being bombarded with 'announce Keane' on every Twitter/Instagram post and usually monitor this place. I'd hope that they're aware the fans are very eager to be updated and the only reason they've not released a basic update ('the search for a manager is ongoing..etc') is because the deal is done or so close to being done that there's no point in offering an update when an actual announcement is imminent.

On the flip side they might have seen how badly the Speakman update went on Saturday and just decided to stay silent for the remainder.

As much as I don’t want to be negative there is obviously a stumbling block somewhere, with someone, about something?🤷‍♂️
The club (as a whole in a generic way) are quite possibly scared of Roy Keane’s personality and the prospect of having to deal with an individual who has operated in the elite level of the football world after a series of lower league yes men who were never going to really question anything.

Keane will want to do things his way as simply and professionally as possible and will not be succumbing to guff like Brent-isms, projects, excessive data, bomb alleys or POMO’s.

After a series of uninspiring, cheap out of work yes men managing the club, culminating in the recent ridiculous scenario of Dumb and Dumber in charge of the last two matches and looking scared shitless at having been asked to do so, the immediate appointment of Keano is now the clubs only option it would seem. No one knows how it’ll go but after all the recent drivel we have had to endure, surely it can only be a positive?
