They were referring to a sale. Sale revenue is received immediately. Purchases are amortised. ..at least if you sign up as a new member be factually correct.

Not sure any of it really matters - there are clearly ways around whatever 'hurdle' that gets put up - if you have money you can do what you want.

The mags are absolutely bouncing right now too - any hint of concern about their owners has been washed away with the money they have just spent and resurgence on the pitch. I'm getting pelters now whereas they were silent until two games ago, and there's no hint of anything other than joy at seeing our pitiful demise whilst they now see the route to PL survival and then endless development from next season.
 
As there seem to be a greater number of the unwashed on here at the moment let me just remind you -

You are complicit in the actions of your odious owners which include, stoning women, killing journalists, throwing gays off buildings and bombing school children to to mention a few.

No matter how many games you win and how much money is spent this won't go away.

Sadly a lot of the commotion has gone away already. It's our job as rivals to keep it going
