He does like. He posted keane wanted it and we were keen before it was even mentioned anywhere
Mate, it doesn't take a genius to work that out.
Keane has repeatedly said he would come back here, in many interviews.
Our board being interested would also be a given. Any board in our position would be.
The man made an educated guess, thats all.

It’s going to end in tears this Keane appointment, all this negotiating suggests both parties aren’t agreeing on things
We shouldn’t be held to ransom by him and vice versa.
You would want somebody enthusiastic to start, where the contract details should be fairly straight forward not a week plus long
I’d argue in management terms Keane needs us more than we need him, quite a few managers could get us over the line this year, still think Johnson may of
This notion in the fanbase that Keane or bust, is heart over head and not necessarily right

i doubt he would walk out on them..but can he done some of the games for them? if so, how many etc...might be whats up for discussion.
This wouldn’t ordinarily be a problem but the issue is, especially for ITV is that the World Cup is next winter rather than the summer, therefore Sunderland will probably be playing during this time

well that assumes SAFC contract offer is for next winter and not just to end of the season-but yes I take your point

But you've just said a short contract. So he wouldn't be at Sunderland then?

I'd like to think that someone can explain to Speakman that this is an embarrassing and incompetent way to run " football operations" at a professional club.

Might need a spreadsheet and some data so that he can get his head around it.

Absolute charlatan.
