They've had one transfer window and spent about 100m. If they continue to spend this sort of cash they are going to get better.
They can't spend that sort of cash indefinitely. FFP rules will kick in and they will only be allowed to spend an amount relative to their income.

Also you need to buy the correct players. Everton have spent about £500M in 5 years (an average of £50M per window) and are in the bottom half of the league.

Spending £25M on Chris Wood isn't the type of signing that is going to allow you compete with top 6.

We know there is ways around FFP.

Agreed about needing the right players in, but by the looks of their first window they are going to spend some cash. Let's hope they continue with their Scatter gun approach.
Daft c#nt ,, they've bought shite hoping to avoid the drop
Haha obvs, point is if they do avoid the drop there will be a lot of players wanting to sign for them for the cash they will be offering.

The first window after the odious new owners took over meant they had to spend regardless in order to show they mean business.
The scatter gun effect of buying shows they know shit from clay when it comes to wise and sensible purchases.

Bollocks, give a player the choice of
Man City
Man U
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal
Spurs
Everton
And you think oooh Newcastle,!!!!
Got to be a wind up you knacker

Seems the tone is changing here and many of you think then will be a force.

They may, though I think otherwise, but regardless every season will be marked by a * - to note when they were overtaken by a nation state that they fawn over to the extent it makes me puke.

This “I love our new owners” rubbish. They are merely the smiling face as evidenced by the single share issue last week.

There isn’t ways around FFP now or Everton would have done it in the summer. The rules are a lot tighter since Man City got done.

Maybe SEB but did anyone see the sports editorial article in The Sun today about FIFA sportswashing and allowing tournaments in locations with appalling human rights records? Turn the page and there are 2 full pages about the wonderful transfer window the mags have had and how they’re going to be a global force etc. f***ing joke.
