The only scenario I see is the one where the club fails to apoint the only candidate the vast majority of fans want and are prepared to let a couple of completely out of depth coaches lose us valuable points instead Of acting decisively.

It is actually possible Keane is just asking too much, to long a contract or total control over transfers.
