See, I'd stop short of these comments just yet. As I've said, the jury is out on him, I'm not wholly convinced. But it's wrong to lose our shit over Speakman because of the last few days.
Didn't do himself any favours by letting all those centre halves leave and only bringing one in either.

'Dear Roy, thank you for your interest in the role of First Team Head Coach at Sunderland AFC Football Club.
Unfortunately on this occasion your application has been unsuccessful.
We would like to keep your details on file and encourage you to apply for any other role that may come up within the club.
All the very best for the future'

I think he spent way over what he wanted to, I think he could afford it, my point was if he just focused on quality, it would not have cost him as much. Ndong being the obvious example and mancini.

He couldnt, the club nearly went bust mate.

We'd had to have spent an absolute fortune to get Mancini like, only way he would have come

It will be announced tomorrow tea time.

Close enough to tomorrow's game to say Dodds and Proctor will stay in charge for the match. If we lose or draw then they are responsible, Keane watched from the Director's box, if we win then the story will be Keane had given them a motivational talk in the dressing room.

Eitherway Keane takes over on Wednesday, training session, backroom staff etc. and the momentum and excitement kicks up for next weekend.

Gooch will be shitting himself
From what I’ve heard said about him, Keane is quite savvy when it comes to man management. Lift for those that need it but rile up the ones that need fire in their bellies!

Obviously he also appears to be prone to telling the odd one or two that they’re shite as well but as long as he’s right, no harm no foul!

The top n bottom of it is we need calm the fuck down.

The weekend was a no-go due the Donny game. Yesterday will have been a day off and Roy was expected on ITV.

Whether he was announced first thing this morning and tea time tonight won't have any real bearing on the game tomorrow. It's come too quick.

It really weird really f***ing quickly.

It went from people being buzzing over Johnson getting peddled, Defoe signing and having contact with Keane about the job to full on meltdown because there's been no news for 3 days.

If it was me appointing I'd have wanted to get it announced first thing this morning.

Put behind (as much as possible) Saturdays lifting showing, and put the entire club and fanbase on a fresh footing for the beginning of the week.
