I don't think he's coming, I think he'd be in by now if he was.

He probably came up and terrified KLD and Speakman and they'll think he's too big a character to be able to handle. Then there's always yesterdays result which has crushed any realistic thoughts of automatic promotion.

I'll keep my fingers crossed just incase.

It’s happening man

Many other factors his end which also may have delayed the announcement

Itv contract to name just one …

Beggars belief how so many can think something before it has even happened.
My opinion for what it's worth is Keane wouldn't allow questions about the Sunderland job live on telly and again today when asked in a roundabout way replying no comment with a smile.....Reason for my thinking is I think Keane has too much respect for Sunderland Afc and more importantly the fans for something not to be happening.......FTM

On the other hand, Saturdays match just gives Keane more power. They know the fans want him, they know he wants it. He's also the one they want apprenelty. Them talking about taking their time and getting bummed off Doncaster makes them look daft

All this rubbish about him being hard to work with doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
Cloughy had won the top flight with Derby and he had to go to a poor Brighton and then a lowly Forest to get a gig. He had failures in between at Leeds where the players would play for him as he had been calling them cheats for years and rightly so.

No one gets Mavericks as they don’t think like everyone else, but please don’t tell me Roy Keane not a winner because what he did with us in that first season was completely miraculous

There is no way he doesn't have a clause in his tv contracts that allow him to walk away should a return to management present itself
Pure speculation. None of us know.
Could be anything else in there or other things behind the scenes and loose ends to sort out.

Find it strange that Keane was again on tv today, surely he would have seen the game yesterday and would want to get up here ASAP to sort that shit out with a game on Tues. I can't see what would be holding things up other than on the clubs side.

Another game lost Tuesday takes us further away from our aim and I think Roy's appetite for another season in league one is the same as mine.

On the flip side it might suit him. Previously there was mention of a 6 month contract with an extension if he gets us up. That's not happening now, we've fucked automatics, if we want him he'll be able to ask for at least 18 months and likely a better bonus if he gets us up this season. If he's coming he needs to be here soon mind

If like me you think we have fucked automatics an extra game or 2 lost doesn't really matter unless you think we are in danger of not getting the play offs

It does matter to me mate. I don't think we can get automatics, not realistically. But we've got what, 13 weeks until the play offs or something? Said it before but, although we went from near bottom to top under Keane last time it was far from instantaneous. Took him a good few months before we really gelled. Every week is vital. We can't let another week go by and give him even less time to work with the players. We need him in, getting used to them, working with them. It might not affect automatics, but the more time he has before the play offs (which I'm sure we'll still qualify for) the better. We can't fuck around losing time, and possibly points and making play off success even less likely
