Why is it? Only if two adults can’t be mature enough to work together in the interest of the club which would seem a bit pathetic. If they can’t do that neither are right for the job.

I remember the Swansea home game under O’Neill. Quite why he signed Danny Graham after that is beyond me. There’s a million examples of fans calling what will go wrong.

I agree. I don’t think we are an unfair set of fans on the whole and when supporters call for change, I agree the club should listen. I always thought Short was good for that until the Moyes days.
 
The Gravy seems to be out in force again tonight! To some of our fans and not the sad mag childish losers who sign up to their rivals forum... have patience, stop arguing and see what this new week may bring. A lot of it on here is fans panicking and hearsay about Keane, hopefully Keane is announced in the morning, takes training tomorrow and eventually leads SAFC onto better times again.

That’s what’s facing Speakman right now.
 
The thing that’s pissing me off is we obviously haven’t had anybody lined up so Johnson should of took charge of yesterday’s game. I doubt we would have been beat off them.

I’d employ the best person for the job in the knowledge that helped me do mine. I’d also be confident I could work with someone like Keane despite any possible differences and equally confident he’d probably feel the same being a grown up. If there was a fundamental moral issue, like PDC’s politics for example it’s different and down to personal ethics but there’s absolutely no reason to believe Speakman and Keane couldn’t work together.
It’s pure speculation that there’s any problem anyway so largely irrelevant.
