The thing is mate, if not till Tuesday they will be throwing another 3 points away.
There’s a bigger picture. It’s only 1 week since LJ left. Automatic is gone, we’re not sitting in 10th or 15th place and if it is Keane, we should be able to sort out this collapse, get back on track and go into the play offs with some momentum. I don’t this I another 3 or 4 days will affect that too much

Sacking the manager and only then commencing the process to find his successor is being labelled as keeping our integrity, but what it really is, is naivety in the extreme.

Look at WBA for example. Sacked their manager and had Bruce in about 20 minutes later, because they did what every other club in world football does and had their current manager's successor ready to go.

I'm sure having our "integrity" will go down well with our fans during the playoffs, or make us feel better about getting pumped by bottom of League One Doncaster FFS.

Then you have the owner liking posts about Keane getting the job earlier in the week, which automatically means if for any reason he doesn't take the job, they have whoever the next manager is pissing against the wind from day one.

I like a lot of what the decision-makers have done to-date, but their handling of this whole episode has been shambolic.
Same as our “integrity” when we played two games while the club was racked with covid instead of postponing like every fucker else

It’s not integrity it is complete naivety and unprofessionalism - it is f***ing embarrassing

Completely disagree, you seen the games after Cheltenham and Wimbledon… MK Dons, Wigan away are two of the next 3.

Get a new manager in before Cheltenham and we could be going into them games with a couple of positive results behind us instead of four consecutive loses

Anyway. What about Paulo Di Canio?

Lad sitting next to us said that’s exactly what the coaching team does at the under 21 games, just standing in a huddle saying absolutely nothing

It’s a bit disappointing we don’t have any proper club men or experienced heads in the ranks who fill in and take control at times like this.

Yesterday was an absolute shambles. Players have to take responsibility as well but the lack of organisation, discipline and ideas was tangible yesterday. It was proper Sunday league stuff.

It is - IF it’s as it seems. Without all of the facts we can’t know for sure. It could certainly have been a disastrous, unprofessional mess. But it could also be a done deal with Keane waiting only for a couple of details to be confirmed - or other commitments to be fulfilled. I’m sure we could have employed McCann prior to yesterday. Would people prefer that to Keane being confirmed early next week?
