Whole team are mentally weak. They’ll be running to mammy if Keane does take us on🙄
I think that is a little unfair on a few of the players. The main thing is that we lack leaders and most players follow by example. Evans has been huge let down in this respect.

If it means Speaksy goes to accommodate Roysy, so be it.
Frightening how much clout he appears to have at our club
Of course its not frightening. Its the DOF model which is very common and often successful in football. Of course, you would just sweep it away after a year and go back to getting in big man managers who will demand that we buy a new squad every year. The last 2 games in particular have been depressing but, boy, is there some tripe spoken on here and your post is indicative of that tripe.

He is the Director of Football so you'd expect him to have some clout to be fair. I don't think he's covered himself in glory over the last week or so but he's tried at least to bring in some promising prospects. I'm still on the fence about him.
Its a meh role for me the DOF.
If all he has done is try to bring in promising prospects then he aint doing much

Getting fed up no no manager no clue no hope , other teams coming up behind for a playoff place , where teams are getting stronger for the final 3rd we look lost and sinking.

Hull didn’t play decent football they were thugs
No, I think they played pretty good, attacking football on the deck. What struck me when we played them down there was they had a bit of spike and arrogance about them as if they deserved to be champions. Taken in isolation McCann did a great job last year. He's not an exciting personality but wouldn't be a bad choice. For me he's better than Johnson.

In the Speakman interview yesterday he said that they it wasn't just the interviewee (ie Keane etc) but they also had to talk to their lawyers and agents.

We also have people quoting the 'Rooney rule' and needing to demonstrate we shortlisted and interviewed a BAME candidate.

Watford appointed Hodgson in a day or so after Ranieri was fired. Did they credibly comply with the 'Rooney rule' ?
Did they get around it by saying Hodgson was a temporary appointment while they go through 'due process' for the permanent appointment?.

Many on here talking as if Keane is the only answer and that Speakman and KLD are boxed into a corner that any other appointment is an anti-climax and whoever it is will have negativity from day one and never be given a fair chance.

I seem to be in a minority to want to let KLD do it properly and what ever the outcome (Keane or another) this will be their man for their plan.
Do you mean like LJ and that plan

If the issue is relocating and we’re only offering a four month contract I can completely understand Keane’s hesitance.

If we’re offering an 18 month or longer deal I’d expect him to move.

Ive said earlier a short term deal is surely the best option for all parties.

If it works we can renegotiate in the summer, if not we all … move on.
