Who cares, they are youth coaches, not their fault Speakman and KLD didnt appoint a manager

You'd sack youth coaches because they werent good enough to manage a first team, a job they aint hired to do?

how does that make any sense?
Who cares? You’re happy if they’ve done bot all on the training ground all week?

If true that’s a sackable offence

That speakman interview is the interview of a diplomat/politician.He spoke plenty without actually saying anything .
I think everyone’s taking his jargon as gospel when Infact I think RK announcement is going to happen on Tuesday.

If for whatever reason it doesn’t the club have created a poisonous predicament all of their own making .

Loadsa money = wages for himself
Wheres this came from

The timing and the guts of his interview was unnecessary. It's ongoing would have sufficed

Needs to happen before Tuesday mind.

I hope he'd reserve judgement on them until he's worked with them. Good coaches don't necessarily have to be high profile or have had a good playing career.
Whilst that is true something is fundamentally wrong with our coaching. LJ would say the same thing… we have worked hard in training all week and we were fully prepared. But then they looked the opposite.
What we really need is a strong character leader not a yes man told to work with the tools he has.

Speakman was deflecting in that interview. Although the timing was ridiculous, but so very SAFC. I can’t find any odds lists from bookies on next Manager. Unless he’s changed his mind after yesterday’s disgrace, he will be appointed, hopefully in time to give them all a massive kick up the arse before Tuesday night.

Not been on this thread since pre match.

He'd be f***ing mental to pack his stuff in and come here like.

Also those players , with the odd exception, are weak as piss and would absolutely shit themselves if criticized .

What’s the point of youth coaches as Sunderland that can’t instil a bit of backbone in their players and make them understand what it will be like playing for a club like Sunderland? They can’t because they have not played for a club like Sunderland or like Michael Proctor, failed miserably and wilted.

Hope you’re right. It’s actually a perfect situation for Keane imo.

You’d think the appointment would be made today, take training Monday, try to have at least some sort of impact on Tuesdays game else well sleep walk to another embarrassing defeat, times running out, his absolute goal will be to stabilise and keep us in those play off spots
