totally agree

if the whole point is its a roll of the dice to try and get top 2 rather than playoffs then we have wasted 1 game, the new manager now has a maximum of 1 days training before another game, however that wont even happen

so we are already down to 15 games

I just dont get it, if they had nobody lined up for a short shock and boost to the players, then dont sack the manager!

absolutely mate, so dispiriting, and first time I've actually got canny pissed off for a while, I usually dont let it bother me

what a let down

when I got home though I realised i was more annoyed at the owner and speakman than I was the players though

He just has to pick a different team. That alone would be a better decision than those two f***ing crap sticks picking the same team that got battered out of some stupid LJ loyalty to try and show he shouldn't have been sacked. I hope they get shown the door, head first.

I do agree with changing the team, I just dont agree with the reason you gave there. In a few positins we have very few options, and also I dont think youth team coaches should be expected to know how to turn it around. But I agree I was surprised by the side. Have to make changes after you get beat 6-0.

Give ower. They work for a living in football. They have to know that putting out the side that got battered is a bad idea. Every man and his cock knows it was a terrible decision. Why can't two men who make a living working in football see it? Don't give them any leeway, they work in football, professionally. They can make that decision and we can expect them to. They're not a pair of kids who don't know how it works first time on the pitch. They work at football for a living and they did that today. I expect better and I think you should too.

On another note. You'd hope that all of the next candidates asked for or were sent a copy of todays game so they can at least have some idea of what to do when they come in.

Same. I do wonder if something went on, falling out etc with LJ, and they sacked him immediately. Because if you are constantly looking at coaches, you are not drawing up a shortlist still a week later.

The two clueless ****kers stood there the entire game not barking out a single order to the players whilst chatting amongst themselves, most likely asking what each other was having for tea ffs. I was west stand right behind them.

Didn’t show much of them on SAFSee but what I did see was that bellend Dodds out marching about….then Jevons came out and Dodds went back to the bench. Just a lack of clear leadership which was obvious the other day when they made their clear as mud “all the coaches get a turn” post.

Awful. From the team selection which was lifting to them stood there like chocolate fireguards all game. Useless as it comes.

Criminal how they got away with standing there not even trying to rouse the team all game.

What happens if Keane is offered the position but turns it down?

Will the criticism switch to “they offered him a crap deal because he scares them, or because they’re incompetent”?

Or will it be “they didn’t want him, they just wanted to appease the fans, so they didn’t try hard enough”

Or will it be “the bastard was stringing us along, never wanted to come unless it was a stupidly beneficial deal for him”

Or will it be “he wasn’t convinced that the current group of players, or the ownership, or the structure were viable so he obviously turned us down”

And in any and all of these scenarios, how stupid will we all look and how hard will it make the job for the alternative managerial option?

Sorry to ask- I’m just trying to make plans for the forthcoming week and I like to make checklists.
