He was appointed in 2011 wasn’t he and their academy is Cat 2. I can think of 3 or 4 who made it to the prem.
That’s not pedigree, that’s just about expectation.
We haven’t even backfilled who left considering we were short already

It’s ok, but Redmond was already in the first team before he took over and Butland only there 6 months.
So then we are looking at Gray and Bellingham, my worry he always been we appointed him because of Bellingham being the next big thing at the time.
When he came in last year I had a quick look and there were no academy players in the Birmingham team. A pretty poor indication given the issues they have had.
