That sky best Of montage/sales brochure they complied was enough for me, watched that and I thought why not he’s a perfect fit and what we need.

That’s from someone who at the weekend was firmly in the no camp
BHH

He's an outsider. No one expects him to succeed. Same as safc!! Its from adversity that great things happen.

Type of guy you want on your team rather than against ya. Cmon keano lad.

He'll take the job because he must know that if he wants back into management in any serious way then he has to take this job. HERE. NOW.

That's how he gets other, better offers. Otherwise he hasn't to bottle to get back in.

He's signing.
Yeah can definitely appreciate that but it all depends on how much he fancies management, unless it suits him down to the ground he might think “fuck it” and stick to getting payed to watch PL games And slag people off

Thing I don’t get is are the board wanting to change the approach already from head coach to manager? Keane is a manager, seems a bit baffling looking at how they’ve structured the club
Is he? What does it matter what his title is? He will be the bloke picking the team and tearing up press conferences.

Keane has said one of the main reasons he left was that he didn’t like the way Ellis Short talked down to him.

KLD won’t do that. He’s a lot younger for one thing. KLD seems to have a sense of humour that Short lacked, and he knows his football, so he’ll know what it would mean to have Keane here. Also Keane will be the elder statesman now as he’s so much older than KLD.

I think the two of them would work well together, and Keane will thrive if he’s in the right environment.
What about speakman though

They won’t be imo, if Keane comes it’ll be as a coach

He was rarely at training so he’s definitely not a coach!

How do you know he isn't OK with the structure? He as in favour of a DoF last time he was here

Rarely? That's stretching the truth a little bit, sorry massively

Obviously his Lieutenants will be key, as they were when he picked the club up from one of its lowest ebb last time.

He’s course and distance. Johnson looked good in the paddock but never found anything off the bridle.

Roy won’t want to get involved with what Speakman does. They’ll identify transfer targets together but Roy will be happy to leave the dealings to others.

He’ll just want to focus on getting the best out of the current squad.
He’ll probably be a bit different to last time. More experienced for a start l

Simon Jordan disagrees.

I feel sorry for us if McCann is appointed

Precisely. It’ll be flat as a fart.

KLD properly upped the stakes last night. I’m manically swinging from one mood to the other on this.

One minute I’m convinced the owner wouldn’t do something as daft as liking that Instagram post unless it was nailed on but on the other hand I keep thinking he’s potentially a fairly naive young lad and overexcited.
