Collingwood ODI head coach.

I think he's pissed on his chips with his recent comments tbh.

Beats me why we didn't try and extend Bayliss as white ball coach. Best there's ever been.

Not seen his recent comments, what's he said?

Agree about the second point like

Good. Not saying he'll be a success but I reckon there's a good chance of it. Morgan has had a great impact on white ball so whether he stays as Captain or not I'd hope he remains part of the coaching team.

And when Colly finishes his stint, hopefully he comes back into County Cricket.

He hasnt like, he was right
You think the players deserve medals just for turning up in Australia?

Literally nobody but you thinks this.

My mam didn't leave the house for two years as she was shielding my late father. Boo hoo for professional cricketers, being stuck in luxury hotels for six weeks.

I’m pleased for colly and I’d absolutely have him as white ball coach

Personally I’d have just liked a different voice from outside the set up for that tour.

Why can’t they just appoint a full time coach now? I don’t get what the hold up is

Why does everything take so long in cricket

Need to go through the process, ask Speakman.

So many people and things out of shape at the ECB at the moment it won't be the best time to be making snappy decisions that will outlast the people making them (possibly).

I just think cricket is a bit different, there aint loads of outstanding candidates like, cant be that hard to gage interest

Take your point but they're also more likely to be on the other side of the world, could be drawn out to negotiate settlements, notice periods etc with people in different time zones. And it's a big commitment, especially if it's a combined test/one day coach. A lot to take on without a bit of pondering. There was less than a week between getting rid of Giles and Silverwood and having to pick a test team, no point in rushing it all.
