And also mentions connection with the club and being able to deal with being at the club. Keane meets that criteria more than any other candidate.

It shouldn’t be underestimated. I genuinely don’t think managers like Johnson, Parkinson and Grayson are big enough characters to deal with SAFC and everything that goes with it. There are probably another 10 clubs in the country that comes with either similar or more intensity, scrutiny and attention. Being a footballing philosophy guru or knowing league one isn’t quite enough here.
Totally agree. Add in the fact that he is hugely popular with the fans and .... marriage made in heaven!
 
He’s been miles off every time. It’s astounding really how much he’s got wrong.

Fairly sure a week ago he was talking about difficulties between Defoe and Johnson and behind the scenes. He got panned. A few days later Johnson was gone.

Now I’m not saying he’s right here, I hope he isnt, but he’s not a bad journalist.
