Whoever it is, wonder when it'll be announced?

Tonight, then get them in training tomorrow ahead of the game Sat?

Or will it be announced tomorrow by Close of Play and they'll only be watching from stands?

That's not really my point, pretend it's not Keane and just another manager that had a similar record with a different club. Would we be considering them for our last ditch promotion push?
If Roy Keane was Phil Parkinson or Simon Grayson, for example, I wouldn't want him managing us. Thankfully he's not Phil Parkinson or Simon Grayson though. He's Roy Keane. I'd like Roy Keane to be our manager.

My main point is that we wouldn't consider anyone with a similar record from over 10 years ago with no other manager experience since. Its purely down to nostalgia over that championship season. There's absolutely no evidence to suggest he would do the same again, in a lower league with worse players with no transfer window and 17 games to go.

No evidence he wouldn’t.

Made me chuckle -get what you are saying

But it’s not “some other manager” so that point is irrelevant.

None of the other candidates look great on paper either. You may be in the camp that assumes because McCann got promoted last season that guarantees he would this season, it doesn’t. He’s awful as evidenced by the hull fans dislike of him.
It is relevant though, if it was another name with similar stats they'd never be considered. Everything suggests it was a one hit wonder as much as it pains me to say it.
Been told it’s a 3 horse race, with Neil Lennon in there
Ah f***ing hell not Neil Lennon

Feel like it's been overly leaked by the club to not be Keane now.

Obviously any media outlet is going to scream about Keane than a Mccann in line for a job....it just feels that way anyway.

Built up to the point now that if it isn't Keane, it'll be one hell of a let down.
