i have agree. I thought we had a blueprint, a long term strategy. We appear to have torn that up.
I was thinking the same but appointing until the end of the season is almost try before we buy and is well thought plan to give the fans and players a push into the promotion race. I like this approach.

I’m struggling to see why some think Keane doesn’t fit with the philosophy or the project.

There’s more indicators that he’d rather work in a DoF model than not. The philosophy is to play an intense pressing game out of possession and pass and move in possession. Something Keane would likely be on board with. I think some people are underestimating his coaching credentials but even so, he can bring in an assistant HC who can be the lead on sessions and tactical work.

Wasn't onboard with Defoesy coming but hey ho things change.
So things might take off on Saturday with both Keane and Defoesy in the dressing room.
Reckon the crowd will be bouncing
If/when Roy Keane comes back I hope he flattens the first person to call him Keanesy. It will definitely win over any doubters in our fanbase.

I’m reading on here that Keane is a leader. We all know that. I want someone who can organise a team so they don’t get beaten. If he can do both then happy days. Being a leader and being a good organiser of a football team don’t always go hand in hand though.

You cant really teach leadership. Its either in you or not to want to lead / be a leader

Organising a team is trainable. Nothing wrong with his organisational skills last time with us

It goes against everything most of us said we were buying into just one year ago.
At least when he was last here he was still relevant as a name to the players we had or then bought in the transfer window. Players like Kavanagh, Connolly, Edwards, the young ManU lads. This time our players know him as the angry man off sky who hasn't done owt of note in management for over ten years. Baffling the way our support seems to fawn over certain ex players/manager's like lovestruck teenagers. Always looking to the past.
Yep we bought into it.......so hows that going and how do you think it would go if the other 3 amigos were to be appointed. We need a boost not another low league knacker.

Keane would be another disaster he got us up by spending a lot of money on a lot of players but we got no further and couldn’t unlosd them. He did nowt at Ipswich. What the hell is wrong with our supporters?
We have just spent a relative lot of money on pretty much the same type of players Keane bought in the Championship.

Connolly, see Defoe
Ross Wallace, see Roberts
Varga, Batth
Kavanagh, see Evans (obviously already here).

We have a strong squad that needs proper management.

Making the same decisions time and time again for the last 4 years hasn't worked.

Time to let the big boys run the show not the executives.

Players and managers win games. Not business decisions.

I'm not sure how any of that relates to what I was attempting to say, I probably didn't articulate well enough.

Although I will say, its business decisions that saw us staring down the barrel of a gun and in league 1.

That's if you're basing it on him flat rejecting it. How do you know he isn't on board with the set up? He talked when he was here last that he'd be in favour of a DoF
I'd love to know who people suggest we get to fit " the blueprint". Only one I've seen mentioned is manning really who's only been at mk Dons two minutes.
