Terrorists were fuming when Defoe signed, Keane would send them over the edge. 2 leagues below and we could have Defoe and Keane and they have Wood and Howe

I keep seeing people say he will hate lon. Personally think he will absolutely love him. Aye he hasn’t got the most talent in the world but he is ultra professional, works his balls off, Will play anywhere without moaning, Will play injured and probably the most likely player we have to battle a game out.He likes players who graft I actually might be in the minority who think he’d get the best out of LON & Gooch.
Scared incase their saviour Eddie Howe has to share a touchline with Roy next season in the championshipTerrorists were fuming when Defoe signed, Keane would send them over the edge. 2 leagues below and we could have Defoe and Keane and they have Wood and Howe

it's great isn't itCan't get my head round this appointment (if it happens) like. Makes no sense to me. I'll obviously support whoever is going to be in charge but there's no sensible reasoning behind it just pure nostalgia.![]()
Spot on for me mate, the last 4 have never previously and will never again get a chance at club the size of Sunderland.Fair enough, but this club requires a certain character to deal with the pressure and expectation of Sunlun in league one (even the Championship) considering the potential of the club.
Best managers in my time have been Reid, Keane, Gus & Big Sam all had the conviction to do it their way.
This isn’t the time for someone to come in and cut their teeth and gain experience, the job and expectation is too big!
Every appointment like this is a risk, for me Keane represents a calculated one.
Look at the players at our disposal, they need that belief and with Keane we’d be pulling in 40k+ and he’d give this young squad the mentality to thrive with that backing
Donald and Co briefing the press that we don’t want him???

We need a jolt to get us out of this league. The long term shite can be put on hold for a bit. Can't get my head round this appointment (if it happens) like. Makes no sense to me. Wonder if Chris Maguire would run over to taunt Keane![]()
That's just not true. Keane could turn it down for plenty of understandable reasons that are nothing to do with how hard the owner has tried to get himSorry I didn't mean "if Keane turns it down", I meant if KLD turns the chance down.
We will not get a better man for the job.
This is KLDs chance to show his ambition.
If this doesn't happen, then we know the new regime are "smoke and mirrors"
I've never understood the difference between 'pressing' and 'trying to win the ball back when the other team have it'Liverpool were playing the pressing game in 70s.
Agents have been about since the 70/80s.
Teams have changed personal since day dot.
So in which way as the game moved on?
Probably yes, but I can’t see him putting up with that for long. The problem I see is who is really responsible for player recruitment because, Stewart apart I don’t see much to cheer about, we still lack pace and physical strength after four years down here.If he was to join, Speakman does have more control over transfers so you’d hope there would be protection against that
It goes against everything most of us said we were buying into just one year ago.it's great isn't it![]()
fuck the data and fuck the pomo let's just go on a pure nostalgia ride and see what happens
First snotty comment from Methven and he’ll be cleaning his teeth via his arsehole.Of course Donald and Methven want him nowhere near.
