Exactly! And Fergie was a serial winner as a manager and Roy hasn't been. For good reasons.
Which is why I hope i'm wrong in having misgivings.
That fat bloke Evans can intimidate, as Fergie could, as well as Roy but what other relevant tools does Roy have in the present day era.
Roy was always his own man, can he bend to a DoF?
Is he a tactical genius?
A proven developer of young talent?
There are questions hanging for me but of course I hope he knocks it into a cocked hat if he's appointed
 
My heart says yes but my head says no because he's been out of management for too long and his personality won't suit the spoilt player of 2022. Someone please tell me I'm wrong.
